All Ears

“He whose ear listens to the life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise. He who neglects discipline despises himself, but he who listens to reproof acquires understanding.” Proverbs 15:31-32‬

It’s never easy to be reproved. It isn’t natural to think of it as life-giving. But that’s the point, the natural man doesn’t listen to reproof. He neglects it. He doesn’t want to hear it. For a leader, this type of response is deadly, for him and to his ministry.

However, by God’s grace, there’s a better way. We can embrace the discipline of listening to His life-giving reproof and in the process gain wisdom’s understanding for both our life and our ministry.
