For A Times Like This

This past Wednesday my precious mother-in-law, Pauline passed into Glory. Though difficult to experience during the Christmas season, in all truth this is the very reason the Christ of Christmas came…

In one of the greatest passages about Christmas, Paul explained it this way: “Christ Jesus . . . although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross” (Philippians 2:5-8). God willingly gave up His rights as God, lived a life of humiliation and rejection, and suffered the punishment for mankind’s sins. Jesus, Pauline’s Savior, did this for her… for me.

Praying for you, as you proclaim Christmas’s most precious Good News, the saving Gospel of Jesus!
