Mailmen

“You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” 2 Cor. ‭3‬:‭2‬-‭3‬

Last Sunday, Pastor Dan Sardinas blessed my ‘pastor’ heart, with this word: I’m a ‘mailman’ of the Gospel. God authored the Gospel. I have the privilege to deliver the ‘letter’, the Gospel. By His Spirit, God writes the letter of Christ on human hearts. They are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all! The ‘letter of the Gospel’ has been delivered. And by the grace of God, received!

"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays/keeps these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" is the mailman’s creed. Similarly, God has given ‘Mailmen of the Gospel’ a creed… “I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.”  2 Tim..4‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ With Bible in hand, God’s grace will enable us to complete our ‘delivery route’!
