Pressing On

“Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭3:12‬

Pressing on is vital. From time to time, my father would ask me how my personal and ministry progress was going. His mentoring was so timely… “coasting usually leads to stopping”, he would say!

In our devotional and ministry life, pressing on allows the Spirit to stimulate effective growth… laying hold of the very things for which Christ laid hold of us!
