Rally Day

“That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children, that they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments,” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭78‬:‭6‬-‭7‬

I know I’m dating myself, but I loved Sunday School Rally Days! The rally cry of Psalm 78 brings them to mind… “That each generation and even those yet to be born might know God. That they should arise the tell them to their children to put their confidence in God, remember His works, and keep His commandments.”

As His servants, to know Him is a ‘woe-is-me’ humbling realization of our unworthiness and a ‘be-merciful-to-me’ confirmation of His redemptive love. With that in mind, what an awesome assignment and privilege it is to rally His people to arise and put their trust in Him! Praying for you!
