Bigger Than Any Dog!

”Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬

In 1973, there was a nationwide effort to place a Bible in every home… Key ‘73! My partner in passing out Bibles was a BIG GUY. Then we came to a house that had a BIG BAD DOG. I had confidence the ‘big guy’ would protect me. Well, while looking at the snarling teeth of a vicious dog, I noticed the ‘big guy’ was no where to be found. Upon returning to my car, I asked, “Where were you?” Much to my dismay he said, “I’m afraid of dogs, any dog! Don’t count on me.”

Guys, I never will refer to God as the ‘Big Guy’, but I will say, “He’ll never let you down!” Of this, you can be confident… He’s BIGGER than any thing you’ll ever face, snarling dogs and ALL. When He says be strong, courageous, don’t tremble, or be dismayed; you can count on this… the Lord your God is in you, with you, wherever He asks you to go.
