Mustard Seed Faith

”And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭21‬-‭22‬

In God’s will. In God’s time. In God’s place of choosing. In God’s way. In my heart, I do believe, but my faith often seems so weak. Like a child I believe and like the father of a  possessed son, I cry out, “I do believe; help my unbelief.” Mk. ‭9‬:‭24‬b As a spiritual leader, can you identify? Not the strength of my faith, but the strength of the One, in Whom I place my faith.

Weak or strong, I place my faith in the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent Christ! Yes, I believe. Thankfully, I don’t need to have all the answers. So I pray… Father, Thy will, in Thy way, in Thy time, be done in my life and in the lives of those You’ve entrusted into my care. In Thy Son, Jesus. Amen.
