“Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.” ‭‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬

As spiritual leaders, it is absolutely necessary to be well schooled in Biblical knowledge. And in order to prevent being puffed up ( arrogant), it’s essential to serve humbly, with wisdom and understanding.

When I hear the word, arrogant, in my spirit it sounds boisterous and loud. While the word, humble, sounds gentle and kind.

During my seminary days, my father encouraged me to gain knowledge, but even more so, he urged me, in my behavior, to live it.

These two words also create an image in my spirit. Knowledge (facts) alone seems cold, while wisdom (experience) seems warm.

Brothers, join me praying that our sound Biblical knowledge displays itself, through our wise and gentle behavior.
