Keep the Light On!

“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

It’s amazing how just a little light dispels a whole lot of darkness. And as spiritual darkness goes, there’s a whole lot of it everywhere. So much, that’s it easy for a ministry leader to think, “Can I or our ministry really make a difference?”

I believe the answer is right in the midst of Jesus’ words. “Let your light… “Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12

The LIGHT is Jesus… in me, in you. He’s our life. He’s our Light. And He is able to dispel any and all darkness. You may see yourself and your ministry as small, but it’s not insignificant, because the Light is not insignificant. With absolute confidence, let Him shine in you, through you. The Light’s good works through you will make a difference in dispelling the darkness where you serve. Those impacted will give the glory to your Heavenly Father.
