Patience

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬

The Fall harvest is starting. Causes me to reflect on my first attempt at planting a tiny garden. It was a disaster. I had no patience. I checked for growth about every other day… yes, even tried to uncover the dirt a little bit to take a peek! My Gramma Brandt said, “Just be patient.”, but I didn’t believe her. Nothing ever took root. Hey, I was only six years old.

Ministry can be like that… plant a seed of God’s Word and then get a little impatient or weary. Often we lose heart and are even tempted to throw in the towel.

Maybe like me, you need the Spirit to remind you to keep doing what’s good, what’s right. Results are God’s work. At the proper time, reaping the results of His work will come. If you don’t believe me, BELIEVE HIM!

Praying for you! Don’t lose heart!
