A Voice

“The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.’ ” Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬

Interestingly, ministry leaders are part of small group whose voices can be covered by disability insurance. Your Gospel voice is a valuable vessel to God, to your listeners, to fulfilling your Kingdom Calling!

Like John the Baptist, God has entrusted to us an awesome privilege and responsibility… proclaiming the Gospel. John’s voice announced the Kingdom of God was at hand. A voice urging listeners to repent. A voice confessing “I am not the Christ.” A voice reminding all “He must increase, but I must decrease.” A voice declaring “Behold the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world.” A voice announcing what The Lamb was coming to do!

Our voices also prepare the way, not for His first coming, but His Coming Again. A Gospel voice calling boys and girls, men and women to repent, believe, receive what The Lamb has done, once for all!

Praying your voice will lovingly, clearly, and faithfully proclaim that Jesus is the Gospel’s one and only straight Way to the Father!
