God’s Favor

“Praise the Lord, all nations; laud Him, all peoples! For His lovingkindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord is everlasting. Praise the Lord!” Psalms‬ ‭117‬:‭1‬-‭2‬

No matter what your Kingdom work is, it is an amazing privilege to serve Jesus and His Flock! 

Over the years, during the prelude music I would survey the congregation. My mind and heart would agree, “Michael, what an undeserved honor God has bestowed on you to proclaim in word and deed the Gospel. Love the Flock… the lost, the sick, the straying, the ornery, the healthy, all of them.”

This is not a ‘Thanksgiving leftover-thought’. Praise the Lord, His lovingkindness toward us is GREAT. The Truth we are privileged to proclaim is eternal. What we declare in word and deed is living, active, discerning, transforming, everlasting. 

Whether you’re surveying the congregation or driving up to your place of ministry, pray: Heavenly Father, in Christ, You have favored us! Amen.
