Accept

“Jesus said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!” John‬ ‭21‬:‭22‬

Seems like those, who ask too many questions, only learn by receiving some pretty direct answers. The Apostle Peter and I are in that number. 

What’s my take away from the exchange Jesus had with Peter? Well, it this… “Michael, God has a plan, place, and time for all His servants… to live, minister, and die (or be caught up)… even you. Trust Jesus.”

Second, when Jesus maps out a tough path going forward, don’t worry about what someone else’s path might be, “…what is that to you? You follow Me!”

I’m grateful for God’s straight forward, emphatic, to the point, direct answer, “Michael, follow me!” Scripture’s evidence is clear… in very season and situation, Jesus has faithfully led and cared for every servant, who has followed Him, no matter what! It’s the Gospel truth!
