Heartburn

“They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?” Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭32‬

There’s nothing better for a leader’s spiritual health, than walking with the Risen Christ. The One, Who has called us to follow Him in Kingdom service, desires to reveal Himself and His Truth each step of the way.

I am thankful that He is patient with the ‘slowness of our hearts’ to understand. And like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, I’m grateful He lovingly reveals Himself and the Scriptures to us. May this type of ‘Resurrection Heart Burn’ continue to stir our spirits in humble devotion and service.
