Anxiousness

If you’re anything like me, you know how one anxious thought can quickly multiply. And as they do, Satan robs you of your peace. In fact He stirs up a whole host of peace robbers… fears, doubts, false guilt, etc. It’s no wonder that the greatest reason for leaders leaving the ministry is burnout.

“When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.”‭‭ Psalms‬ ‭94‬:‭19‬

Following the ‘Faith Steps’ of the Psalmist leads us to God’s provision. As his thoughts turned towards his Heavenly Father’s consolations (compassions and comforts), his soul was transformed from anxiousness to delight. And delighting in the God of all consolations drowns out the burnout effects of anxiousness.

Praying for you.
