Touched With Immortality

A. W. Tozer once wrote, “Any temporal possession can be turned into everlasting wealth. Whatever is given to Christ is immediately touched with immortality.”

As I pray for you, I know you have faithfully been giving God your time, talents, treasures. I also know you would be quick to say, “Michael, I’m only giving what He’s first given me. In fact, by His grace, I long to give more freely.” 

However, I want to reinforce how marvelous and far reaching your service, your giving is! In my view you’re much like the Macedonians… “For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave of their own accord, begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints, and this, not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.” 2 Cor. 8‬:‭3‬-‭5‬

As Tozer said, “Whatever is given to Christ is immediately touched with immortality.” As you and those you serve press on, may his insight reveal the value of your service, your giving, and expand your vision.
