Mom!
“She looks well to the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.” Proverbs 31:27
The ‘loving sniffs on my neck’ were the trademark of Lorraine Mae Brandt’s love. From the day I was born to the day God called my mom Home, she nearly sniffed the skin off her ‘Sonny Boy’s’ neck. Back then, I’d wrinkle up my nose, as she pulled me close and sniffed away. I sure would love to have one of those ‘sniffs’ on this Mother’s Day!
Like me, most of you have been blessed with the loving influence of a godly mom. However, when a birth mom’s care is missing, God has graciously provided the motherly influence of a Godly woman. In gratefulness, we rise up to honor them or their memory, praising God for His goodness to us.
By the way, I’m grateful that God enabled your mom to bring you into this world and my life. Praying for you.
