My Best Good!

“But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works.” Ps. 73‬:‭28‬

This is one of my ‘go to’ verses. It helped me weather the storm surrounding our family’s journey with Jeannie’s terminal cancer.

The Psalmist was in dire straights, even to the point of turning against God. Then He realized, though he was angry, God was still holding him by the hand. “Then I was senseless and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand.” Psalms‬ ‭73‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ Following this he declared, that God’s nearness was his good.

I too have found this to be true. On my best day or worst day, the nearness of my Savior and Lord is my greatest GOOD! That’s my prayer for each of you, every day of your lives and ministry.

I’m honored to tell of all His works and privileged to pray for you!
